BASIC POLICY ON ANTI-SOCIAL FORCES

BASIC POLICY ON ANTI-SOCIAL FORCES

To maintain public trust in the financial instruments business and to ensure the appropriateness and soundness of our operations as a financial instruments business operator, we have established the following “Basic Policy on Anti-Social Forces,” with which all officers and employees must comply.

1. Organizational Response

In response to unreasonable demands from anti-social forces, we will address them as an organization overall, led by the Representative Director and other members of management, rather than leaving them to individual staff members or departments. Furthermore, we will prioritize the safety of executives and employees handling such demands above all else.

2. Collaboration with External Specialized Organizations

We will maintain close, regular, and cooperative relationships with external specialized organizations, including the police, the Center for Promotion of the Movement to Eradicate Violence, and attorneys, and establish an organizational response system to prepare for unforeseen events.

3. Severance of all Relations, Including Business Transactions

We maintain no business or other relationships with anti-social forces, including financial instruments transactions and any other dealings, and will firmly reject any unreasonable demands.

4. Civil and Criminal Legal Responses in the Event of an Incident

In response to unreasonable demands or illegal acts by anti-social forces, we will promptly take all necessary legal measures, both civil and criminal, without compromise.

5. Prohibition of Improper Dealings and Financial Support

We will neither engage in any improper dealings with anti-social forces, nor provide them with funds or confer benefits on them under any circumstances.
